Singer Rydell Performs In March At Sunnybrook

SANATOGA PA – Legendary singer Bobby Rydell will headline an evening filled with music March 28 (2015; Saturday), beginning at 6:30 p.m. in historic Sunnybrook Ballroom, 50 Sunnybrook Rd. Tckets for the event are available now through online ordering, and they may also be purchased at the door if seating is available.
Rydell’s career spans six decades and encompasses almost every part of the entertainment world. He debuted as a teen idol during the 1950s, and then was asked to perform in films, the theater and television appearances. At age 19, he was the youngest performer ever to headline at the Copacabana club in New York City.

The Chiclettes
His recorded hits include “Volare,” “We Got Love,” “Forget Him,” and “Wildwood Days.” Rydell’s recording career saw 34 of his songs end up in the Top-40, ranlking him among the top five artists of his era.
Rydell will be joined at Sunnybrook by “Philly Cuz” Battaglia, a South Philly native son; The Chiclettes, a girl group tribute act from New York; The Coda Band, also from New York; and Tom McCarthy of WOGL-FM Radio in Philadelphia, who will serve as master of ceremonies.
Although the doors open at 6:30 p.m., the show begins at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $47.50 per person for advanced reserve seating; $55 for premium seating, and $55 for remaining seats on the day of the show.
