If This $198 Belongs To You, File A Claim

NORRISTOWN PA – Rightful owners have until May 9 (2015; Saturday) to file claims for personal property held by the Montgomery County District Attorney’s office, including cash seized during a September 2014 incident in Pottstown, according to a legal advertisement published Thursday (April 9, 2015).

Montgomery County District Attorney Seeks ClaimantsThe advertisement lists dates of seven separate seizures conducted between Jan. 3 and Dec. 13, 2014, amounts or items available for return, persons from whom listed items were taken, and locations at which the seizures were made. Circumstances surrounding the seizures were not mentioned. The list of what is being held includes:

  • $198 seized Sept. 15, 2014, from Stewart Enos at or near 100 E. High Street, Pottstown.

Six of the seven involved cash ranging in individual amounts from $82 to $1,739, and totaled more than $3,100. Also seized and now available for return is a Corona RC4060-model drywall saw. Besides the Pottstown location, seizures also were made in Wynmoor, Upper Dublin, Willow Grove, Bala Cynwyd, Audubon and Norristown.

Claims must be filed with the Montgomery County Clerk of Courts.
