Former Staff Chief Coordinator In DelCo
SANATOGA PA – Mike Lavanga, who worked for the past two years (2013-2015) as chief of staff for former Pennsylvania Rep. Mark Painter, has been named as county council campaign coordinator for the Delaware County Democratic Committee on Gayley Street in Media PA. Lavanga announced his new position, effective this month (April 2015), on the business and social media platform Linked-In.
Painter held his elected office during the same period as the representative of residents in Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick, Pottstown and Royersford, all part of the state House of Representatives’ 146th District. Painter’s district offices were in Sanatoga, and Lavanga spent some of his work time there. Painter lost a November 2014 re-election bid to his successor, Rep. Tom Quigley.
Lavanga holds a juris doctor degree from Temple University; speaks Italian, Spanish and French; and is an experienced numismatist.
