Pottstown School Hosts Free Summer BasketballPOTTSTOWN PA – A four-week, free summer basketball program for boys and girls entering 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades in the Pottstown School District will be held Mondays and Wednesdays from 6-8:15 p.m. beginning June 22 (2015) in the gymnasium at Barth Elementary School, 467 W. Walnut St.

Registrations are being accepted now; a form can be downloaded here.

Students will rotate in circuits to practice speed, dribbling, passing, and shooting. The playing environment will be supportive and non-competitive. At the end of the four weeks, students who meet a requirement of reading two grade-level books and producing one book report will participate in a basketball tournament.
