Heritage Area Sets Pedal And Paddle Dates

POTTSTOWN PA – The 2016 editions of the “Schuylkill River Pedal and Paddle” adventures sponsored by the Pottstown-based Schuylkill River National and State Heritage Area have been announced for dates in May through September.

All the tours begin with a 4-1/2-mile bike ride from Pottstown’s Riverfront Park to Historic Morlatton Village in Douglassville. Participants ride yellow cruisers from the Bike Pottstown bike share program. Then, they paddle back to Pottstown via the Schuylkill River.

Each trip costs $40 per person. Food, bikes, kayaks and all kayaking gear are provided. Participants must be age 16 or older.
