North Coventry Police Make Burglary Arrests

ARRESTED ON SEVEN BURGLARY COUNTS – A 35-year-old Pottstown woman, Cathleen Craig of South Hanover Street (inset above), was arrested Wednesday (May 11, 2016) on seven counts of burglary “stemming from recent reported burglaries that took place over the past several weeks in the 300 and 400 block of South Hanover,” the North Coventry Police Department reported on its CrimeWatchPA portal. The department said it considered Craig a suspect after collecting information and alleged evidence from individual burglary scenes. During their investigation, the department claimed, “officers were able to determine … Craig was also involved in two additional burglaries on Kline Avenue” that allegedly took place Wednesday, as well as an attempted burglary on West Schuylkill Road. She was arraigned Thursday (May 12) and reportedly released on $10,000 unsecured bail. A preliminary hearing for Craig is scheduled for June 2, the department said.
