Get Thinking Sept. 13 About Pottstown Future

POTTSTOWN PA – Economic development and community engagement will be central themes Sept. 13 (2016; Tuesday) during the second installment of the “PottsTOWN Talks” program series hosted by organizer Emanuel Wilkerson, beginning at 7 p.m. in the Connections on High Café, 238 E High St. The event is free and open to the public.

This event has been added to The Post Publications’ calendar.

Wilkerson, whose first session was well-attended and received, suggests a community coalition can put “the beat back into the heart of Pottstown.” The gathering will feature local economic development authorities, and local real estate marketers on how the community can become involved in the borough’s redevelopment. The event includes small group brain-storming sessions.

“I’m excited to bring the community back together for our second PottsTOWN Talks, so we can brainstorm together on ways to help our local economic development authorities rebuild our town as a united Pottstown,” Wilkerson said. “I want to urge the community to grow this coalition for the future of Pottstown by coming, sharing and bringing a friend.”
