Trunk-Or-Treat Precedes Boyertown Parade

BOYERTOWN PA – A Halloween trunk-or-treat event, in which revelers visit the trunks of collectively parked cars to pick up their treats in a supervised, safe and confined space, will be held Oct. 22 (2016; Saturday) from 3-5 p.m. in the shared parking lot of St. John’s Lutheran Church, 45 N. Reading Ave., and Good Shepherd United Church of Christ, 35 W. Philadelphia Ave.

The churches have invited borough children and their parents, before the start of the borough Halloween Parade, to “come enjoy trick-or-treating … in a safe and welcoming environment. Grab a bite to eat, and play some games too,” they said.

An alternative rain date has been set for the same hours on Oct. 23 (Sunday).
