Line Striping Begins Next Week On Route 29
PENNSBURG PA – Lane restrictions will be in effect next Monday through Friday (May 8-12, 2017) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day, on Route 29 between West 6th Street and West 2nd Street in East Greenville, Pennsburg and Red Hill boroughs, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported. Highway crews will line striping pavement on that section of roadway, it said.
The work is part of a $5.4 million project to repair and resurface 24 miles of state highway in Montgomery County, the agency added.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work zones. Slowdowns will occur, PennDOT said, although the contractor’s schedule depends on the weather. H & K Group Inc. of Schwenksville is the general contractor.
