Bridge Repairs Prompt 422 Lane Closures Ahead

LOWER POTTSGROVE PA – Lane closures are scheduled for bridge repairs during the coming week on east- and westbound U.S. Route 422 across Lower Pottsgrove Township, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.

Crews from contractor J.D. Eckman Inc. of Atglen PA are scheduled to work:

  • Tuesday (June 20, 2017) from 9.m. to 2 p.m., and so will close the right lane on eastbound 422 between its Route 724 and Sanatoga interchanges; and
  • Thursday and Friday (June 22-23) from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m, closing the left lane on westbound 422 between its Sanatoga and Armand Hammer Boulevard interchanges.

Drivers should allow extra time to travel through the work areas, PennDOT said. The contractor’s schedule depends on the weather.
