DOUGLASSVILLE PA – Three off-road vehicles (two are at top and below) valued at about $7,000 have disappeared from a property in the 500 block of Monocacy Hill Road, the work of so-far-unidentified thieves, and the Amity Township Police Department appealed Thursday (June 29, 2017) on its Facebook page for help in investigating the crime.

Police Chief Andrew J. Kensey said the following were taken from the rear of the location:

  • A 2009 John Deere-model 6201 Gator, olive in color, with a hard top, a glass windshield, and a crack in the right front fender;
  • A 2007 John Deere 6201 Gator, olive in color, a canvas top, no windshield, and wooden sides; and
  • A 2002 Yamaha-model Big Bear four-wheeler, green in color.

The department did not mention how the rolling stock was stolen, or when. Officers were dispatched to the scene after receiving a report June 22 (Thursday) at 7:55 a.m.

Anyone with information regarding the stolen vehicles is asked to call Det. Michael DiMaria at the department, 610-689-6000 Ext. 235.
