Police Charge Pottstown Woman With Possession
NORTH COVENTRY PA – A Pottstown woman arrested Wednesday (Aug. 2, 2017) by North Coventry Police Department officers has been charged with possession of drugs and paraphernalia after they allegedly discovered those items in her vehicle.
Ivy Capoferri, 36, of Sheephill Road, also was wanted on a bench warrant issued in Bucks County, police learned. She was arraigned on a charge of possession of a controlled or counterfeit substance, and transferred to the Chester County Prison in West Chester on $7,500 cash bail, according to a post on the department website.
Police said they were dispatched to a parking lot at Valley View Apartments, 600 W. Schuylkill Rd., to investigate a suspicious vehicle. That’s where they encountered Capoferri. A substance suspected to be heroin and a hypodermic needle were reported to be recovered from the vehicle.
