Man Arrested In 422-100 Alleged Road Rage

NORTH COVENTRY PA – A 44-year-old Barto PA resident was arrested Sunday (Aug. 20, 2017) by North Coventry officers after he allegedly displayed a gun during a road rage incident in an area near the intersection of eastbound U.S. Route 422 and Route 100, the police department said on its website.

Thomas Holland (at top) has been charged with aggravated assault, simple assault, terroristic threats, recklessly endangering another person, possessing an instrument of crime, and disorderly conduct, police added. He was arraigned, with cash bail set at $50,000, and transported to Chester County Prison, they said.

The department said it received a report “that a male in a gold Chevrolet Tahoe pointed a handgun” at a victim in the incident that occurred at about 12:16 a.m. They did not indicate if the victim also was driving, or what, if any, actions occurred before the gun was allegedly shown.

The Tahoe was stopped in Limerick Township, where “a 9mm handgun was recovered from the defendant, Thomas Holland,” according to the report.
