Three Road Segments Close Overnight For RepairKING OF PRUSSIA PA – Some Perkiomen Valley drivers, beginning today (Sunday, Oct. 22, 2017) and extending through Thursday (Oct. 26), may cope with overnight travel restrictions on three different roadways, as Pennsylvania Department of Transportation crews or contractors make base repairs there.

In all three cases, local access will be maintained up to the construction zones. Motorists are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. All scheduled activities depend on the weather.

Sunday in Perkiomen and Skippack

Tonight (Sunday) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m., PennDOT said it will close Bridge Road between Route 29 and 73 in Perkiomen and Skippack townships. During the work, drivers will be detoured over Route 29 to Route 73, it added.

Tuesday in Perkiomen and Upper Providence

Greenwood Avenue is scheduled to close Tuesday (Oct. 24) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Wartman Road and Ridge Pike in Perkiomen and Upper Providence townships. During construction, Greenwood Avenue motorists will be detoured over Wartman Road, Township Line Road, and Ridge Pike.

Thursday in Limerick

Neiffer Road is scheduled to close Thursday (Oct. 26) from 8 p.m. to 5 a.m. between Ridge Pike and Game Farm Road in Limerick Township. During construction Neiffer Road motorists will be detoured over Ridge Pike, Limerick Road, Pheasant Road, and Game Farm Road.
