Pottstown Names Wilson As ‘Student Of Quarter’
POTTSTOWN’S FIRST ‘STUDENT OF THE QUARTER’ – Nominations by several Pottstown High School teachers have resulted in naming senior Nick Wilson (at top, in band uniform and in class) as the school’s first “Co-Curricular Student of the Quarter,” the Pottstown School District reported Tuesday (Dec. 12, 2017). Wilson, who has earned a 104.8 grade point average, is involved in many athletic and non-athletic activities. They include cross-country, track and field; jazz, concert, and marching band; pit orchestra for district musicals, and National Honor Society and student government membership. Wilson describes the importance of “performing on the field and on the test,” and wants to attend college for civil engineering. He has already been accepted by three schools.
