PennDOT Crews Spread Across Valley For Fixes
KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Perkiomen Valley residents are likely to see more than their share of Pennsylvania Department of Transportation maintenance and contractor crews next week (Feb. 12-17, 2018; Monday through Saturday). They’ll work on local portions of state roads in an effort to repair more than 60 highways in the greater Philadelphia region.
Due for pothole patching and other fixes to deteriorated pavement during the week, according to PennDOT’s King of Prussia district office, are:
- U.S. 422 in Upper Providence and Lower Providence townships;
- Route 73 in Skippack Township;
- Route 29 in Collegeville Borough and Marlborough Township
- Route 113 in Lower Salford and Upper Providence townships;
- Allentown Road in Lower Salford and Franconia townships;
- Perkiomenville Road in Lower and Upper Frederick townships; and
- Hill Road in Lower Frederick Township.
Crews will restrict travel lanes on these state to complete patching. Drivers are advised to be alert of their regularly moving operations. Drivers can expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns when near work crews. All activities depend on the weather.
Also on the area project list are:
- Route 663 in Upper Pottsgrove Township;
- Ridge Pike in Limerick Township;
- Route 29 in Phoenixville Borough; and
- Route 724 in East Coventry Township.
