State Tree-Trimming May Delay NorCo Travel

NORTH COVENTRY PA – Tree-trimming operations conducted by contractors for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation will create travel restrictions next Monday through Friday (March 12-16, 2018) in a portion of North Coventry Township, PennDOT reported.

Travelers on Route 724 from Catfish Lane to just west of Scholl Road are expected to encounter lane restrictions daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Flaggers will direct traffic through the affected area. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas; slowdowns will occur, the agency added. The work’s progress depends on the weather.
