Police Still Looking For Card-Skimming Suspect
ALLEGED SKIMMERS STILL OUT THERE – Upper Perkiomen police continue to search for users of illegally obtained credit cards, or those fraudulently manufactured using numbers skimmed from cash registers and other financial transaction devices. The Pennsburg PA-based department, on its Facebook page, said it is still looking to identify a woman pictured above, who was using an allegedly “stolen (or) skimmed credit card” at a Giant supermarket during January (2018). Anyone with information on the woman photographed at the store’s checkout line is asked to contact Upper Perkiomen Ofc. James Sands at 215-679-8203. Several area police departments – including Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick and Spring City – encountered a rash of card-skimming crimes between last December and this February. Some of them remain unsolved as well.
