Two Local Companies Respond To House Fire
FLAMES GOT STOPPED AT THE GARAGE – Volunteers from the Monarch (Amity PA) and North Coventry fire companies were among those responding Sunday (April 29, 2018) at 6:26 a.m. to a working structure fire (above and below) at 2445 E. Main St. in Union Township. Firefighters successfully contained the damage to the home’s garage, according to a post on the Monarch Facebook page. A social member of the Monarch company, Rod Wagner, was credited with discovering the fire and helping to evacuate the home’s residents. They were asleep at the time.
