Pottstown Team Fund-Raiser Helps Foundation
WORKING TO BENEFIT JULIA’S GRACE – Members of the Pottstown High School football team (above and at left) spent a recent Saturday washing more than 50 cars outside the Dairy Queen restaurant on East High Street to raise funds for the Royersford-based Julia’s Grace Foundation. The non-profit organization’s mission is to bring moments of happiness and support to children with cancer and their families. Players, coaches, Pottstown’s Trojan Man mascot all were on hand for the event, which was organized by Coach Mark Fischer. The group “demonstrated the importance of giving back, and worked side by side … in washing cars for the kids, foundation Director Janet Miller-Eveland said.
