Saturday PV Festival Aids Animal Rescue Work

TRAPPE PA – The third annual Animal Rescue Charity Yard Sale and Awareness Festival, held by the Perkiomen Valley Middle School East Builder’s Club in part to benefit local animal rescue organizations, is scheduled to be held Saturday (May 19, 2018) rain or shine from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at South Elementary School, 200 E. Third Ave.

The festival offers a variety of yard sale items and food for sale. The rescue groups it helps also will be in attendance, and some of them intend to bring animals currently available for adoption. The current list of participants includes Charlie’s Crusaders, Dog Town Rescue, Fosterlings, Harley’s Haven Dog Rescue, Pawsibilities Animal Rescue, Recycled Tails, and Slimy, Scaly, Taily Reptile Rescue.

The Builder’s Club is still accepting yard sale item donations. They can be dropped off at Middle School East, 100 Kagey Road, Collegeville, by Friday (May 18) or to the event at South Elementary on Saturday before 8 a.m. Please send an e-mail to leskin@pvsd.org for more information.
