Holiday Brings Douglass Trash Collection Change

DOUGLASS (MONT.) TONWSHIP PA – Trash collectors enjoyed the Independence Day holiday like most of us, and so there was no garbage collection Wednesday (July 4, 2018) in Douglass (Montgomery) Township, its Solid Waste and Recycling Department noted.

Trash and recycling pick-ups normally scheduled for Wednesdays will instead be made on Saturday (July 7). Home owners and others with Wednesday pick-ups are asked to ensure their trash and recycling is at curbside by Friday night (July 6).

Pick-ups normally scheduled for Thursdays won’t be disappointed; their trash and recyclables will be picked up today (Thursday, July 5).
