Pottstown High Welcomes Assistant Principal

ARRIVING FROM CEDAR CLIFF – David Livengood has been named by the Pottstown School District as its new assistant principal in Pottstown High School. He most recently served in a similar position at Cedar Cliff High School in Camp Hill PA. Livengood earlier taught business education in the Chambersburg Area School District and is a former chairman of the 11/30 Network, a young professionals’ networking group in Franklin County. He also was the 2016 recipient of the Chambersburg Chamber of Commerce Young Professional of the Year award, and won the 2017 Educator of the Year honor from the Pennsylvania Association of School Retirees. Livengood holds an undergraduate degree in business technology support from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP), a master’s degree in Education from Westminster College, a business education certification from IUP, and a principal certification from Shippensburg University.
