Physicians Network Joins Tower Partnership
WEST READING PA – On the heels of a Tower Health Partners’ announcement last week that the non-profit health care company had added orthopaedic physicians and surgeons to its clinically integrated network, Tower reported Wednesday (March 13, 2019) that The Physicians Integrated Network (TPIN) also is joining its partnership.
TPIN’s membership adds 666 physicians in 24 clinical specialties, 30 ambulatory facilities, and more than 200 service locations to the mix of providers expands Tower Health’s geographic coverage an increases access to services for Tower Health patients. Many TPIN-related firms are located along the Main Line.
TPIN was established in 2016 to represent private practice physicians, as regional medical care transitions from a fee-for-service model to one of pay-for-value. TPIN Executive Director Lynda Mischel said she expects joining the partnership will “decrease costs by coordinating care, creation, and adherence to evidence-based clinical guidelines, (while) offering patients alternate sites of service.”
Tower operates Pottstown and Phoenixville hospitals as part of its regional health system.
