Pothole Brigades Busy Next Week In Collegeville

COLLEGEVILLE PA – Maintenance and contractor crews will work on more than 70 state highways next week – including those in Collegeville, Upper Providence, Limerick, Lower Pottsgrove, Pottstown, and North Coventry – to fill potholes and repair deteriorated pavement, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported Friday (March 29, 2019).

Days and times will vary due to crew availability and weather conditions, but workers likely will be seen during the next seven days on:

  • U.S. 422 in Lower Pottsgrove, Limerick, Upper Providence, and North Coventry;
  • Route 29 in Collegeville;
    Armand Hammer Boulevard in Lower Pottsgrove and Pottstown; and
  • Keim Street in Lower Pottsgrove.

Drivers should anticipate crews will restrict travel lanes to patch pavement areas. Travelers are advised to be alert of these moving operations and to expect intermittent lane closures and possible slowdowns.

PennDOT also reminds drivers they can report potholes and other roadway concerns on state roads by calling 1-800-FIX-ROAD, or visiting the “Submit Roadway Feedback” link at PennDOT’s website.
