Investigation Proceeding In Pottstown Homicide

POTTSTOWN PA – Montgomery County detectives and the Pottstown Police Department are continuing their investigation into the apparent homicide Saturday night (March 30, 2019) of a 42-year-old borough man who was shot several times and discovered seated inside a parked vehicle on York Street. He was pronounced dead after being transported to Pottstown Hospital, the county district attorney said.

Keith Robinson was reported Sunday (March 31) by DA Kevin R. Steele and Pottstown Police Chief Michael Markovich to be the victim of “multiple gunshot wounds.” A homicide ruling in Robinson’s death, issued by the county Coroner’s Office, followed its autopsy.

Police responded Saturday at 10:53 p.m. to the corner of York and Walnut streets for a reported shooting, located the vehicle, and found Robinson inside.
