Troopers Pursue Alleged East Greenville Thief

EAST GREENVILLE PA – A retail theft that occurred almost a month ago in the Walmart store at 620 Gravel Pike remains under investigation by state police from the Troop K barracks in Skippack, a CrimeWatch network website reported Monday (June 17, 2019). Troopers are looking for a female suspect (at top) who allegedly left the store with unpaid goods while accompanied by two children.

The theft occurred May 24 (Friday) at about 11:30 a.m.

Surveillance video of the suspect’s departure is said to show a Caucasian woman wearing a pink hat, a dark-blue jacket, and a wristband, pushing a shopping cart with a seated toddler and holding the hand of a young girl walking beside her. The cart contained unpurchased items valued at more than $148 that were not recovered.

“The suspect got into a white-in-color Ford Escape or Edge before leaving the area,” the report added.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Skippack barracks at 610-584-1250 and speak with Trooper Isaiah Slonaker.
