‘Four Lanes End’ Next To Play Music In Meadow
SCHWENKSVILLE PA – Four Lanes End, a self-described “mature, reliable and eclectic four-piece band located at the intersection of classic rock, country, Americana, and alternative” music, will be the featured attraction July 17 (2019; Wednesday) from 6:30-8:30 p.m. as the Schwenksville Borough Activity Committee continues its 2019 Music In The Meadow summer concert series at Meadow Park, 300 Main St.
The event is free to attend and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages (no alcoholic beverages are allowed) to “enjoy the sweet sounds of music in the night. Come out, feel the beat, and have some fun with your neighbors!,” the borough suggested.
Ample parking is available nearby.
The July concert is the second in the monthly series. It launched in late June with Rhodes Less Traveled, offering a mix of “classic and modern hits, and b-sides.”
The final concert of the series, planned for Aug. 21 (Wednesday) marks the return of Dog Bite Money, a well-known and Schwenksville home-grown favorite classic rock cover band that in 2009-2010 was named champion in WMGK 102.9FM Radio’s House Band competition. The group finished that season by playing to a New Jersey crowd of more 50,000 fans with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company.
