Pottstown Teacher Volunteers Time In Thailand
POTTSTOWN TEACHER VOLUNTEERS IN THAILAND – Tamara Gundersen (at top and below), an autistic support teacher at the Pottstown School District’s Franklin Elementary School, recently returned from participating in a three-day animal rescue mission in northern Thailand. She helped to care for the health and feeding of elephants that have been saved from riding camps and illegal logging companies. She also spent time walking some of more than 550 dogs at the same animal park that were rescued from being sold for meat in China and Vietnam.
