Dog Bite Money Back In August For Park Concert

Dog Bite Money Back In August For Park ConcertSCHWENKSVILLE PA – The final installment of the 2019 Music In The Meadow summer concert series at Meadow Park, 300 Main St., planned for Aug. 21 (Wednesday), marks the return of Dog Bite Money.

The well-known and Schwenksville home-grown favorite classic rock cover band in 2009-2010 was named champion in WMGK 102.9FM Radio’s House Band competition. The group finished that season by playing to a New Jersey crowd of more 50,000 fans with Paul Rodgers of Bad Company.

The 6:30-8:30 p.m. event scheduled by the Schwenksville Borough Activity Committee is free to attend and open to the public. Guests are encouraged to bring their own blankets and chairs, snacks, and non-alcoholic beverages (no alcoholic beverages are allowed) to “enjoy the sweet sounds of music in the night. Come out, feel the beat, and have some fun with your neighbors!,” the borough suggested.

Ample parking is available nearby.

The August concert is the second in the monthly series. It launched in late June with Rhodes Less Traveled, and was followed by the Four Lanes End band.
