AccuWeather: Be Prepared For Another Scorcher

ANOTHER HOT ONE AHEAD – Although the skies (at top) over Sanatoga PA looked deceptively tranquil today (Sunday, July 21, 2019) at 5:48 a.m., AccuWeather predicts the day’s weather across the greater Pottstown PA area will be “unseasonably hot” with temperatures expected to reach a high of 95 degrees. A National Weather Service excessive heat warning remains in effect locally through 10 p.m. tonight. With equally excessive humidity, AccuWeather calculates the temperature will feel like 105 degrees. The day also is accompanied by a 60-percent chance of thunderstorms, and a weather service “flash flood watch” for the area is scheduled to be effective from Monday (July 22) at 10 a.m. through Tuesday (July 23) at 6 a.m. Wear plenty of sunscreen, AccuWeather also warned: the day’s ultraviolet radiation level for sun exposure and burn is rated “extreme.”
