Schwenksville Rain Gardens Offer New Beauty

BEAUTY IS WHERE YOU FIND IT – Rain gardens in the borough of Schwenksville’s Meadow Park have been working overtime during the past two weeks. They and the surrounding area were deluged with copious amounts of thunderstorm-generated rain, and subsequent flooding in the park by the nearby Perkiomen Creek. Although Mother Nature temporarily deprived visitors of the park’s pleasure, she also has returned it in the beauty of new crops of black-eyed susans spotted Tuesday (July 23, 2019). They’re growing healthily amid other plants in the twin gardens’ ponded water.
