GreenAllies Gala Marks Non-Profit’s 5th Year

UPPER POTTSGROVE PA – GreenAllies, the non-profit organization that continues to oversee the operation of Upper Pottsgrove’s Althouse Arboretum, will observe its fifth anniversary Oct. 5 (2019; Saturday) beginning at 5 p.m. at the arboretum, 1794 Gilbertsville Rd., with its annual GreenAllies Gala. Tickets for the event cost $35, and are available for purchase now online, here.

GreenAllies’ “growth and success are because of your support,” its executive director, Ken Hamilton, said. “Whether you take walks, walk your dog, bring your children or grandchildren, attend events, take advantage of our recycling, or support Green Allies in other ways, you are an integral part of the GreenAllies community. It is because of you that we are here.”

The night’s activities include food, music, fun, and recognition of the group’s regional and national programs. Money earned by the event support the organization, and help “us raise much-needed funds for our important work of empowering students to be the sustainability leaders,” Hamilton added.
