Police Arrest Third of Four Charged In Death

POTTSTOWN PA – Elijah Davis, the third of four men facing first-degree murder and related charges in an alleged shooting death during March in Pottstown, was arrested Friday (Sept. 6, 2019) after being located in Northampton County, northeast of Allentown PA. He was arraigned before Magisterial District Justice Scott J. Palladino, and jailed without bail at the county facility in Eagleville PA.

Davis, 18, a Pottstown resident, is among those whom investigators claim murdered Keith Robinson, also of the borough, during the late evening hours of March 30. Police found Robinson dead of multiple gunshot wounds his vehicle at the corner of Walnut Street and York Street.

Similarly charged and already in custody are co-defendants Kyshan Brinkley, 23, and Jacquan Lee, 26, both of Pottstown; they were arrested Aug. 1.

The circumstances of Davis’ apprehension were not offered in a statement jointly issued Friday by county District Attorney Kevin Steele and Pottstown Borough Police Chief Michael Markovich. A preliminary hearing for David is scheduled for Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. in Palladino’s Pottstown courtroom.

Still being sought in the crime is Derrick Goins, 26, of Pottstown, for whose capture the county district attorney’s office has placed a $1,000 reward. Goins is 5-feet, 8-inches tall, and weighs about 130 pounds. To obtain the reward, anyone with information on his whereabouts should call Pottstown police at 610-970-6570 or Montgomery County Detectives at 610-226-5553.
