NorCo Police Look For Alleged Retail Thief

NORTH COVENTRY PA – An alleged thief who North Coventry police say struck Thursday (Sept. 19, 2019) morning at the Lowe’s Home Improvement Center in Town Square Plaza, 1136 Town Square Rd., made off with an assortment of four Dewalt-brand 20-volt power tools, and officers hope someone among the public can identify him.

The police department, on its website, said a suspect in the crime was photographed (at top) by surveillance cameras as he pushed a shopping cart into the store at about 10:30 a.m. He then made his way to the tool department, selected the tools, put them into his cart, and headed toward the store’s Garden Center exit.

Once at the Garden Center exit, the suspect “is seen grabbing the (four) tools from his cart, and running out the exit and into the parking lot. The suspect is then seen entering a red pickup truck and fleeing the parking lot.

The value of the tools was not reported.
