EAST GREENVILLE PA – A portion of Route 29 in East Greenville borough, between 4th and 5th Streets, is scheduled to remain closed through next Wednesday (Oct. 23, 2019) so PECO Energy can conduct utility construction activities, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced. The closure is planned from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on weekdays, it added.
The work is being performed with PennDOT permission under a highway occupancy permit. The project is one of several being PECO has under way involving state-owned highways in Delaware, Bucks and Montgomery counties, the agency said.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. Backups and delays will occur, PennDOT warned. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.
