Resurfacing Affects Limerick, Skippack Roads

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – Portions of three roads in Limerick Township, and of a fourth in Skippack Township, will be the targets this week of milling and paving work conducted by contractors for the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, it reported.

Affected are:

  • Neiffer Road between Ridge Pike and Game Farm Road, as well as Game Farm Road between Neiffer Road and Pheasant Road, with lane restrictions in Limerick Township today (Monday, Oct. 28, 2019) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and again overnight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.;
  • Limerick Road between Ridge Pike and Township Line Road, with lane restrictions in Limerick Township daily through Friday (Nov. 1) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., and again overnight from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m.; and
  • Collegeville Road between Creamery Road and Route 73, with lane restrictions in Skippack Township on Friday (Nov. 1) only from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Agency contractors are milling the existing road surface and repaving with new asphalt to seal the highways and provide a smoother riding surface. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Slowdowns will occur, PennDOT said. All scheduled activities depend on weather conditions.
