Two Pottstown Area Residents Ready For Nursing

NURSE AIDE TRAINING GRADS – Six Montgomery County Community College students (in light blue at top) have graduated from the nurse aide training day program held at its Pottstown campus. They are Caroline Ann Barco of Lansdale, Lisette Borrero of Pottstown, Casey Leap and Georgette Smith-Slater, both of Schwenksville, Harshadbhai Patel of Pottstown, and Alexis Rodrigo Perez of Norristown. They were joined in their graduation photo by (in dark blue) instructors Kim Ziegler RN and Lori Ertel RN, and program manager Lori Spiezio RN. The program combines in-class lessons with hands-on clinical training at local long-term care communities. It seeks to prepare students for a career in the nursing field by teaching skills and techniques needed to succeed as a certified nurse aide.
