Lane Restrictions Until Friday in Lower Salford

Lane Restrictions Until Friday in Lower SalfordLOWER SALFORD LANE RESTRICTIONS – Lane restrictions with flagging are scheduled today (Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019) through Friday (Dec. 20) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Route 113, between Sharon Lane and Old Morris Road in Lower Salford Township (at top). They are part of traffic signal work under a Pennsylvania Department of Transportation project to replace three poor-condition bridges that carry Route 63 over the Unami, Ridge Valley, and east branch of Perkiomen creeks. The work depends on acceptable weather conditions. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area, PennDOT said, because backups and delays will occur. The bridges over the Unami and Ridge Valley have been closed and detoured since May for replacement. Both are expected to reopen later this month, PennDOT said. The bridge over the east branch of the Perkiomen is currently reduced to a single lane pattern through Spring 2020.
