Upper Providence Advertising for Police Officer
UPPER PROVIDENCE PA – Resumes and applications from qualified individuals interested in working for the Upper Providence Police Department as a full-time officer are being accepted through Jan. 31 (2020; Friday) until 4 p.m., according to an announcement on the department’s website.
The department covers portions of zip code areas that include Collegeville, Trappe, Royersford, Mont Clare, Oaks, and Phoenixville PA. A starting salary for the position was not specified.
The successful candidate’s basic requirements include, but are not limited to, United States citizenship, a minimum age of 21 years, possession of a high school diploma or equivalent, possession of a valid Pennsylvania driver’s license, and evidence of successful completion of Act 120. Applicants will submit to a written test Feb. 4 at 7 p.m., and additional testing will occur on later dates.
Resumes must be mailed to the Upper Providence Township Police Department 1286 Black Rock Rd., P.O. Box 406, Oaks PA 19456. A $25 administrative fee, made payable by check to Upper Providence Township, must accompany submission of the resume. All resumes must include a valid email address, and cell or home telephone number.
