Police Seek Collegeville Man In Alleged Theft
COLLEGEVILLE PA – Jeffrey H. Boyer, a 34-year-old Collegeville resident who according to Upper Providence Township Police currently can’t be located, is being sought for arrest on two criminal charges under a local judge’s warrant, according to court records and a report recently issued on the department’s CrimeWatch website.
Boyer is charged with theft of movable property by unlawful taking and receiving stolen property, stemming from an investigation by Det. Sean Franchini that occurred in July (2019) at Boyer’s place of employment in Collegeville. The web report did not identify the employer, any items allegedly stolen, or provide specifics on circumstances surrounding the alleged theft.
Records from the court of Magisterial District Justice Robert H. Welsh, who issued the warrant, show Boyer was awaiting preliminary arraignment as of August.
