Perkiomen Man Charged With Two Murder Counts

PERKIOMEN PA – A press conference is planned Friday morning (Feb. 7, 2020) by Montgomery County District Attorney Kevin Steele regarding details in the arrest of and case involving Hamilton Road resident Nicholas A. Forman, who was charged Thursday (Feb. 6) on counts of first- and third-degree murder in the death earlier this week of a 22-year-old Gilbertsville woman.

Court records show a preliminary hearing on the charges is scheduled for Feb. 12 (Wednesday) in the Harleysville courtroom of Magisterial District Justice Albert J. Augustine.

Pennsylvania State Police from the Skippack barracks allege that Forman, age 23, assaulted his girlfriend, Sabrina Harooni, sometime Monday (Feb. 3) between midnight and 10:30 a.m. at his home, following an argument between the two.

Harooni died in Pottstown Hospital as a result of what troopers claim were injuries to her head and face inflicted by Forman. They said they found a seemingly incriminating audio and video on Forman’s phone during the course of their investigation, according to a KYW Newsradio report.

Forman told police he and Harooni had visited a restaurant and bar to watch the previous night’s SuperBowl football game, and that upon their return she had been attacked by three women outside the Hamilton Road address. Harooni was punched and kicked by the women, Forman claimed; he said he was not personally involved in the altercation.

Troopers’ interviews with several witnesses – including an Uber driver who transported them from the restaurant to Perkiomen, hospital nurses, and several of his Hamilton Road neighbors – conflict with Forman’s account of events regarding the incident, WFMZ-TV reported.

It was Forman who booked a different Uber ride Monday morning to take himself and Harooni to the hospital for treatment.

Troopers arrested Forman on Thursday afternoon, on a warrant approved by Steele. He was jailed without bail at the county Correctional Facility in Eagleville PA.
