‘Nothing Bundt Cakes’ Store Opens in Collegeville
COLLEGEVILLE PA – Ten flavors, four styles, and five different sizes. Collegeville’s new Nothing Bundt Cakes franchise – which officially opened only 12 days ago (Feb. 1, 2020) at 99 Market St. Ste 2 in Providence Town Center – thinks it has what your mouth is watering for.
You remember bundt cakes, or at least the deep, round pans with fluted sides and a chimney-like center tube they were baked in? They first became a popular dessert in the 1960s, following a baking contest produced by the Pillsbury Company that featured a “Tunnel of Fudge” winning cake.
Fast-forward 60 years, to the Collegeville bakery that now joins more than 300 other Nothing Bundt Cakes stores across the county. They offer what local representatives Melissa and Lawrence Ayers call “an adorable and captivatingly modern take on the circular European-style dessert Bundt cake.”
Its options include “Bundtini, a bite-sized cake available by the dozen; Bundtlet, a mini Bundt cake that easily feeds two; 8- and 10-inch sized cakes; and tiered cakes. Standard petal frosting or a drizzle are available, as are gluten-free cakes.
Want to sample the goods? Stop in for bites available daily. Nothing Bundt Cakes is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and is closed Sundays. For more information, call 610-989-2253 or send an e-mail to email@example.com.
