More PECO Construction Next Week on Route 29

PENNSBURG PA – PECO Energy is planning utility construction work that will result in a single-lane closure next Monday through Friday (April 27-May 1, 2020) from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily on Route 29 between 8th and 10th streets in the borough, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced. PECO will complete its efforts under a PennDOT highway occupancy permit.

Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area. PennDOT warned backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activity depends on acceptable weather.

Also next week, PECO is similarly scheduled to work on other Montgomery County projects in Lower Merion, Upper Dublin, Upper Moreland, and Cheltenham townships.
