Buchert Ridge Tree: Up It Comes, Down It Goes
SANATOGA PA – Employees of Richard Brown Inc., a Pottstown-based professional tree service, relied Tuesday (May 12, 2020) on a rented crane to help them remove a towering tree (below) at the Buchert Ridge Community residential development on Buchert Road in Sanatoga.
Buchert Ridge General Manager John McMenamin explains the huge tree, among the tallest in the neighborhood, was taken down due to safety concerns.

It was at the center of the rear yard for the community’s recreation building and garden. Some of its large branches were “beginning to fall in areas where residents may walk,” he said.
Two other smaller trees also were removed, McMenamin added, because they required frequent clean-up and maintenance. Their removals are “important in our efforts to keep the site looking nice,” he said.
