Two Vehicles Towed After Tuesday NorCo Crash
NORTH COVENTRY PA – Some occupants involved in a Tuesday (May 26, 2020) two-vehicle crash that occurred shortly after 4:20 p.m. near the intersection of Laurelwood and West Cedarville roads in North Coventry said they had incurred minor injuries during the accident.
A four-door Chevrolet sedan (above) and Ford pick-up truck (below) both could not be driven from the scene, and were towed by Douglassville Auto Body trucks.
No details about the drivers or the collision were immediately available, as a North Coventry Police Department officer said her report had yet to be written.
Emergency dispatchers called North Coventry volunteer firefighters and fire police, and Goodwill Ambulance to the scene. Damaged parts strewn across the asphalt and near the corner included bumpers, headlights, and other items (above) that landed several yards away from where the vehicles came to rest. Firefighters picked them up, and also spread absorbent material for a distance to clean up a fluid spill.
Fire police blocked and re-routed traffic for a time along Laurelwood from its intersection with Route 724 to beyond the accident location.
The roads were re-opened shortly before 5 p.m.
