One Injured Thursday in Accident at Turkey Hill
SANATOGA PA – An older man, who apparently incurred a medical problem as he was driving a car east Thursday (May 28, 2020) at about 3 p.m. past the Turkey Hill convenience store at 3051 E. High St. was injured when his vehicle swerved into the westbound lane of East High, crossed its shoulder and lawn, and struck another vehicle waiting to exit from the store’s parking lot, Lower Pottsgrove police said at the scene.
The man suffered a hand or wrist laceration, and was transported to Pottstown Hospital by Goodwill Ambulance. The male driver whose car was struck appeared to be uninjured, and remained to talk with police about what happened.
The department report is still being compiled, according to police Sgt. Timothy Walters, and few details about the incident were immediately available. Volunteers from the Ringing Hill and Sanatoga fire companies arrived to help stabilize the vehicles, provide assistant, and remove debris.
A tow truck removed both vehicles.
