PECO Working Next Week in Pottstown, Lower Salford, Phoenixville

KING OF PRUSSIA PA – PECO Energy is planning lane closures on three local state-owned highways next week for utility construction, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation reported. The locations are in:

  • Pottstown Borough, for utility installation Monday through Friday (June 8-12) daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Charlotte Street between Jefferson Avenue and Lincoln Avenue;
  • Lower Salford Township, for aerial work Monday through Friday daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Route 63 between Quarry and Ruth roads; and
  • Phoenixville Borough, for utility installation, Monday through Friday daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Route 23 between 3rd Avenue and Lincoln Avenue.

PECO will complete the projects under a PennDOT highway occupancy permit. Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work areas. Backups and delays will occur, according to PennDOT. All scheduled activities depend on acceptable weather.
