None Injured in Sanatoga Two-Car Accident Saturday
SANATOGA PA – No one was reported injured in a two-vehicle accident (at top and above) that occurred Saturday (June 20, 2020) just before 2:50 p.m. at the intersection of North Pleasant View Road and the southern entrance of Donna Lane, according to Lower Pottsgrove Township Police at the scene.
Police said the collision occurred as one driver was moving south down North Pleasant View and attempted to turn left onto Donna Lane, where the second vehicle was located. The force of the impact immobilized both vehicles. Names of the drivers and sole occupants involved were not immediately available, because a police report is yet to be written. It is unknown if any citations are pending.
In addition to a police patrol, volunteer members of the Ringing Hill and Sanatoga fire police units and a tow truck from Sanatoga Auto Body also responded. For a brief period traffic on North Pleasant View was initially stopped between Foxtail Drive and Buchert Road, so police could investigate and the vehicles were removed. Traffic was then permitted in both directions, alternating on a single lane.
Onlookers from nearby homes in the heavily residential area, including some located up to a half-block from the scene, gathered on porch steps and lawns to watch the clean-up.
