RESPONDED TO ALARM – Firefighters at the scene said a malfunction in an oven used at Precision Polymer Products Inc., 815 South St., Pottstown, set off an alarm Monday night (July 6, 2020) shortly before 10 p.m. First-responder crews from several Pottstown borough fire stations, Lower Pottsgrove’s Ringing Hill and Sanatoga fire companies, Goodwill Ambulance, and fire police arrived quickly, inspected the building, and discovered the problem, but detected no smoke or flames. The arrival of emergency vehicles brought out a number of shift workers from nearby companies, who congregated in parking lots close enough to watch the action but far enough away to be safe.
